Chapter 3313
Alice laughed. "Of course. If we manage to get on Quinn's good side, it'll be just the same as getting on Julian's good side."
As the eldest daughter-in-law of the Stones, Alice had no need to curry favor with anyone, but she still wanted to forge ties with Julian's wife. There would always be a need for the Buchams at some point.
For example, they had only managed to get the Buchams to help now through Zachary's connection. The rich madams of the upper class mostly had ulterior motives for keeping in touch, apart from the rare few who were truly friends. The rest were just using one another.
“Hurry downstairs and see if the old people who came are scammers." Alice then turned to coax her son softly. "Elias will fall asleep really quickly. I'll sleep a little longer with him. There's no need to wake me for breakfast. You have to eat something before you head to the office."
"Okay." Clive leaned close to kiss his beloved wife on the cheek before tenderly touching his son's face. He really wanted to just do nothing and stay with his wife and son.
"Go on."
Clive kissed his wife again and whispered, "We can do it once he turns two months old, right?"
Alice hummed in confirmation, blushing a little. Clive had been celibate for far too long. He did not even dare to touch her even after she was out of her postpartum period and told her to rest for a month longer. Once the baby turned two months old, they would resume everything a normal married couple did.
"You guys should sleep a little longer. I'll go downstairs to take a look." Clive looked deeply at his wife before straightening and turning to walk outside.

"Sir." Gabe was waiting at the foot of the stairs for Clive. When he saw Clive come downstairs, he greeted him respectfully.
A few elderly people were sitting on the sofa. Gabriel had served them tea, water, and snacks, and at the same time, asked the kitchen to make a few more servings of breakfast. If they were who Mrs. Stone had been looking for, his employers would likely ask them to stay for breakfast.
It was better to be prepared than not. Ms. Stone's future husband, who was just next door, would be coming over later to mooch off them anyway.
When the group of elderlies saw Clive come downstairs, all they did was glance at him before continuing to sip their drinks. They did not touch the fruits or the snacks. The oldest of the group gave Clive a long look before saying, "There is a slight resemblance."
"Dear sirs, this is our young master, Clive Stone."
Clive walked over to them and politely greeted them before sitting down, letting the five old men size him up. He looked at Tiara's old assistant, whose beard was long and pure white. It was a mystery how long it had grown to get that long.
