Serenity and Zachary York

Chapter 3327

Serenity said, "If you're this nervous now, will you drive off to the hospital by yourself, without me, when I'm in labor like Elisa did when Alice's water broke?

Zachary replied in a serious tone, "Don't compare me to Elisa, okay? I won't do such a thing. I may get nervous, but I won't forget about you. I want to be in the delivery room with you."

"You will?"

"That's right. I'll be there with you. No matter what happens, I'll be by your side."

Serenity smiled sweetly.

"Thank you, Zack.

"Thank you for loving me and being so nice to me."

Zachary corrected her again. "Call me babe. I like it better that way. I should be the one thanking you for carrying our children. You're a great hero in our family."

"Let's stop thanking each other."

Serenity snuggled into his embrace again with a grin and hugged him tight.noveldrama

Happiness filled her to the brim.

Zachary used to be a man of few words, yet he became someone who could utter such loving words to her.

He changed so much for her sake.

She was indeed the apple of his eye.

About an hour later, Zachary's car entered Wildridge Manor.

Tania came out of the house with a worried expression on her youthful-looking face.

She heard that Zachary and Serenity had returned without prior notice.

She was nervous and scared, thinking something might have happened to her children.

Tania immediately tried to open the door as soon as Zachary's car stopped. The driver quickly unlocked it.

Tania pulled the door open and stuck her body in to help Serenity out of the car. She asked, "Are you feeling unwell, Seren? Should I call the doctor? I'll get Sam to get the family doctor here right away.

"How are you caring for Seren, Zachary? You said you would look after her. No matter how important the company is, Seren takes priority. Don't just focus on your work. You should take care of my daughter-in-law too.

"Your nana is also partly to blame. She was the one who said she'd move to your place to look after you two, yet she started gallivanting after a few days. She must be chatting with someone at the foot of the hill now."

Tania started scolding Zachary without giving the couple a chance to speak.

She was so worried that she even complained about Grandma May.

The old lady did say she would move into Zachary's place after learning of Serenity's pregnancy. She was concerned that Zachary would be unable to look after Serenity well.

However, after seeing how Zachary treated Serenity, she knew her worry was for naught. She resumed her usual lifestyle and was out and about again.

Serenity finally had a chance to speak. She explained, "I'm fine, Mom. We just wanted to visit. It isn't because something has happened. This is our home too.

"I don't feel unwell at all. Zachary has been taking good care of me. He's more attentive than anyone else. If it weren't for this experience, I wouldn't have known that our young master was such a thorough and attentive person."

"Are you really okay?"

Tania placed her hand on Serenity's forehead. Her temperature was normal.

Then, she asked again, “There's nothing wrong with the baby, right?"
