Chapter 3326
Ever since Serenity got pregnant, Zachary had the urge to be with his wife 24/7.
It was Serenity who stopped him from clinging to her.
She had work to do.
Since Serenity was working while pregnant, Zachary had no excuse to skip work. He had to earn money to spend on the baby.
Sonny said it was a boy.noveldrama
If that were true, then Zachary would have to earn more money for his son to be able to own a house and a car in the future.
Zachary did not lack money. In fact, he could confidently say that the one thing he had the most was money.
Of course, no one would say no to more money. The amount he earned was enough to last his son for a lifetime.
The money could be inherited by Zachary's grandchildren and future generations to come. He hoped the York family would still hold its position as the wealthiest family in Wiltspoon for a long time.
"Is Alex going to work next year?"
Serenity had always felt that Alex was still very young.
"He looks like a high schooler. His baby face makes him look like a student."
Most people would mistake Alex for a high schooler if they saw him.
Zachary said, "He may look young, but he's already an adult. Only Rowan hasn't come of age yet."
Then, Zachary told the driver, "Drive us to Wildridge Manor."
"Alex will be turning twenty-three next year. River had also started working at that age."
Serenity smiled. "I can't help but treat Alex as a kid whenever I see his face. I can't believe he's becoming a working adult."
She knew the York family's children would only show themselves to the world once they started working officially. Usually, they were well protected by the family. While the public knew the York family had nine young masters, they had not met all of them aside from those already working.
Those who did not belong to high society would not even recognize Dylan and the boys younger than him.
The most well known young masters of the Yorks were Zachary, followed by Callum and Kevin. Not many people knew of Dylan, Peter, and the rest- they kept a low profile as well.
"Nana is already planning to have Alex follow her around to meet guests during the banquet for our baby's sip-and-see shower. She wants to introduce Alex to everyone."
Serenity said, "Won't that steal the spotlight away from Alex?"
"Nothing to worry about. We also followed our grandparents to business events when we first started working. None of us had a banquet dedicated to us. Alex is lucky."
Serenity touched her baby bump. She thought she felt the baby move. Her hands stopped right there to feel it, yet it felt as if there was nothing.
She knew it was not her imagination. The baby was moving with such tiny movements that it was difficult to detect. She had always thought she was mistaken whenever she felt the baby move.
The baby's movements would definitely get stronger over time.
Jasmine, who was further along in her pregnancy by a month, was able to feel the baby moving.
"What's wrong? Do you feel uncomfortable? If that's the case, I'll take you home right now. You don't have to go to the manor with me. It's far."
Zachary thought Serenity was feeling unwell when she stopped caressing her baby bump. He immediately got nervous and was about to ask the driver to turn the car around.
She quickly said, "I'm fine. Don't get flustered. I thought I felt the baby moving again, but I couldn't feel anything when I stopped to focus on its movements.
"Zachary York."
Zachary immediately corrected her, saying, "I prefer you calling me babe. I get nervous when you call me by my full name. I'll be worried whether I've done something to anger you."
Serenity would call him by his full name whenever she was angry.
