You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 113 Resolute Decision

“You’re quite clever.” Yolanda didn’t hide her intentions.

Facing Yolanda’s murderous intent, Freya calmly responded, “If you kill me, it’s a crime.”

“If I decide to do it, I’ll make sure there’s no evidence left. Besides, even if I end up in jail or get executed, I’ll secure the entire Stone family’s fortune for my son. He’ll live a worry-free life. I won’t lose.” She smirked. “My son is the only heir, and Leo, whether he likes it or not, will have to leave the money to Zane.”

“Zane is his son. How could he not leave his fortune to his own son? I think you’re overthinking this.” Freya tried to convince her.Belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

“He never considered Zane. If Leo really cared about his son, he wouldn’t stubbornly refuse to divorce your mother!” Yolanda held resentment towards Leo.

She had complaints against Leo.

What did he take her for?

Why wouldn’t he give her a proper status?

He insisted on keeping her as a mistress for a lifetime, even hiding her son from the public eye.

Did she not deserve an open and legitimate relationship?

“He’s not divorcing just to use my mom to control me, not because there’s still love…” Freya argued.

“I thought the same at first, but slowly I realized he still has feelings for your mom. He’s with me just to have a son!” Yolanda interrupted Freya, convinced she understood Leo.

At this moment, Freya had no time to ponder Leo’s feelings for her mother. The urgent matter was to find a way to escape. Seeing Yolanda’s car deviating more from the route, Freya knew she must have prepared for this. Now she needed to find a way to make Yolanda stop the car.

“Yolanda, don’t you want to see your son get married and have children? You’re still young, you have many days ahead,” Freya attempted to make her give up the idea of killing her.

Yolanda paid no attention. She was determined.

Freya gritted her teeth and opened the car door. The safety alert kept beeping, reminding them that the door was open. Yolanda was surprised. “What are you doing?”

Freya ignored her, shouting outside, “Help!”

She wanted to attract attention. But it was late at night, and the road was already sparsely populated, especially on this secluded stretch. Finding help was nearly impossible.

Yolanda deliberately chose this time to go after her because the road would be empty. It was a calculated move.

Staring at Freya, Yolanda said, “Close the door!”

Freya not only didn’t close it but also intended to force the door against the guardrail to stop Yolanda.

However, instead of stopping, Yolanda accelerated.

“Freya, I’m determined to find you! I won’t let you go for any reason!” Yolanda insisted. She stepped on the gas, and the car accelerated.

The door hit a lamp post, came off, and almost flipped over. Even so, Yolanda continued to drive forward.

Freya felt a bit panicked. She bit her lip, calculating the potential harm from jumping off the car at this speed.

Glancing at her through the rearview mirror, Yolanda said, “Your father is under my control now. If you jump off, with this speed, you’ll either die or get injured. You won’t escape, and I’ll kill your father!”

She was threatening Freya.

Freya wouldn’t fall for it.

“I’m not close to my dad, do as you please!” She knew that the more she showed concern for her father, the more Yolanda would use Leo’s life and death as a threat against her.

At this moment, she and Leo were at odds, and Yolanda might let her guard down if she believed Freya didn’t care about Leo.

“You know, I hate him so much. If you kill him, I’ll thank you for sure,” Freya continued.

Yolanda couldn’t believe it. “Freya, you’re so heartless. He’s your father.”

“My father? He only used me. When did he treat me like a daughter?” Freya pretended to be indifferent, even resentful.

Yolanda found it hard to believe. “Aren’t you getting along well with him now?”

“When did that happen?” Freya immediately refuted.

“At the hospital entrance that day, weren’t you and your father polite to each other? You even thanked him and found specialists for him. Isn’t it because you knew he was seriously ill and wouldn’t live long, so you wanted to please him and get a bigger share of the inheritance?” Yolanda woke up to reality. “Are you trying to deceive me with sweet words? I almost fell for it!”

Freya was in a hurry and didn’t have her phone with her. She had no means at the moment. Her leg was just fine, but if she jumped off the car, she might end up seriously injured. Now, all she could do was wait and see where Yolanda would take her and then find a way to save herself.

Jumping off at this speed was unrealistic.

Seeing that Freya was cooperative, Yolanda smiled, thinking she had won, and said, “That’s more like it.”

Soon, Yolanda stopped the car. It was a secluded area with mountains on one side and a forest on the other. When Yolanda stopped the car, two men emerged from the woods. Yolanda had arranged them in advance. She paid them. Knowing that she alone couldn’t handle Freya, Yolanda hired them.

With a triumphant smile on her face, Yolanda said, “Come on down.”

Freya suddenly lunged forward, unfastening her seatbelt and wrapping it around Yolanda’s neck, threatening her, “If I’m going down, I’m taking you with me!”

Yolanda’s face turned pale. “You dare.”

“You’re pushing me to the edge. Do you think I wouldn’t?” Freya tightened her grip.

Yolanda, equally ruthless, retorted, “If you kill me, do you think you can escape? A beauty like you in the hands of those two thugs, do you think you’ll fare well?”

Two men by the car, one lean and the other sturdy, stared intently at Freya. They were paid to do a job, and all Yolanda asked was to dispose of Freya at sea. Little did they expect to deal with such a beautiful woman, and malicious thoughts crossed their minds.

Freya exerted more force, tightening the seatbelt. Yolanda struggled for breath, her face turning red. She uttered a few syllables, “Hurry, pull her off!”

The two men quickly rushed into the car to pry Freya’s hands off.

This method of strangling wouldn’t immediately sever Yolanda’s neck like a knife would. It required a bit of time. Seizing this opportunity, the men managed to pull Freya out of the car, saving Yolanda.

After catching her breath, Yolanda could finally speak. A deep red mark adorned her neck, sensitive to the touch. Enraged, she got out of the car, “Freya Stone!”

She raised her hand to strike Freya, who was held by the two men. Unable to move her arms, as Yolanda’s hand was about to hit her face, Freya lifted her leg, kicking Yolanda out. Unsteady, Yolanda took a few steps back and stumbled. Fuming, she shouted, “What are you all waiting for? A beautiful woman like her in your hands, don’t you know how to have fun?”

The two men immediately lit up, “We can…”

“Of course, feel free to indulge!” Yolanda said viciously.

The two men exchanged glances and dragged Freya into the depths of the woods. Close to the sea, the sound of waves and the salty smell of the ocean were clear.

Freya knew escaping from these two men wouldn’t be easy with brute force; she had to use her wit to have a chance. Pretending to comply, she tried to please the leaner one, as he seemed less robust and might be easier to escape from. “Why don’t you go first? I’m in your hands, no need to be shy.”

Smirking, she turned to the lean man, “How about you first?”

Upon hearing this, the lean man wondered if she had taken a liking to him. Why else would she let him go first?

He squinted, fixating on Freya. He had never laid eyes on such a stunning woman before–fair-skinned, delicate features. He turned to his companion and said, “Bro, mind if I take the lead on this one?”

The other man, more accommodating, agreed, “Sure, go ahead. I’ll take my time later.”

The lean man’s face darkened upon hearing he was expected to be quick. He had to prove himself to the sturdy man. Taking Freya, they headed toward a flat patch of grass!
