You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 231 I Miss Him

“What are you staring at?” Ronan snapped, not in the mood. “Can’t handle your drink? Can’t even see straight?”

Freya felt disappointed. “Can you please stop talking? I thought it was Elijah.”

“What? If I don’t talk, act like a mute, you’ll mistake me for him?” Ronan rolled his eyes. “We don’t even look alike.”

“Of course not, you’re not as good-looking as he is…” Freya mumbled.

Ronan remained silent.

“He may be great, but I’m the one taking care of you now. Can you stop bringing up Elijah all the time?”

“He’s my husband, why can’t I mention him? I miss him, and if I want to talk about him, I will,” Freya slurred, emboldened by the alcohol. Words she wouldn’t normally say slipped out so easily now.

Ronan was completely speechless this time.

Could he not be subjected to such a blow?

“If you want to show off your affection, go home and do it.” Ronan huffed coldly.

Elijah’s name was on her lips constantly.

Freya stumbled, attempting to make her way to the restroom, but accidentally knocked over a bottle of alcohol, which shattered on the floor with a loud crash. She froze. Her body swayed, almost falling. Ronan acted quickly, reaching out and catching her, holding her tightly in his arms.

Freya furrowed her brows. “Let go of me.”

“Hey, Freya, I saved you just now. Without me, you would have fallen. Can’t you appreciate a good deed?”

Ronan was on the verge of cursing, feeling furious and betrayed. Freya pushed him away. Even though she was drunk, she seemed to know the boundaries between men and women.

Ronan helped her steady herself and asked, “Can you stand?”

Freya nodded.

“Yes.”

She hiccuped. The strong smell of alcohol filled the air. Ronan furrowed his brows.

“Freya, let’s have a drink,” Luna raised her glass.

Before Freya went to the restroom, she picked up a glass, and downed another drink with Luna.

Ronan watched them in a daze.

These two women!

What were they up to?

Freya’s phone suddenly rang. She nudged Luna. “Your phone is ringing…”

Luna waved her hand. “No, it’s your phone.”

“Mine?” Freya reached for her phone. She took it out and glanced at the screen. It really was her phone ringing. She pressed the answer button. “Hello…”

“Is Luna with you? I can’t reach her on her phone,” the voice on the other end said.

Freya widened her eyes. “Orion?”

Without waiting for Orion’s response, Freya continued, “Hey, Orion, how could you hurt Luna?”

Orion’s voice sounded restrained. “Where is she?”

“I don’t know.” Freya was about to hang up, but then Orion’s voice came through again. “Freya, I know you know where she is. Don’t act on impulse. I need to see her.”

Freya turned to Luna. Luna was even more drunk than she was, barely conscious.

“What place is this?” Freya looked up at Ronan.

Ronan took her phone. “I’ll explain for you.”

Freya didn’t care. Let him explain if he wanted to.

Ronan spoke to Orion, giving him the address, and then hung up. Freya couldn’t even lift her head from the table.

Over half an hour later, Orion arrived. Seeing the two unconscious women in the private room, he didn’t seem surprised at all. He had already sensed that they had been drinking when he called.

He picked up Luna and was trying to figure out what to do with Freya when Ronan spoke up. “I’ll get her home.”

Orion looked at him skeptically. It was a look of distrust.

Ronan quickly explained, “I brought them here. I’m close with Freya. I wouldn’t harm her. She just saved my mother by performing surgery on her. I wouldn’t repay her kindness with treachery.”

Orion nodded. “I appreciate it then.”

Ronan said, “Freya is my friend too.”Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

After Orion left, Ronan stood in the private room for a while before walking over to Freya. He shook her gently. “Freya.”

Freya squinted her eyes.

“Mmm…”

Suddenly, she felt nauseous. But before Ronan could react, Freya tried to get up, tripped on the edge of the table, and fell onto him. At that moment, Freya couldn’t hold it in any longer.

Ugh…
