My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey)

Chapter 2583

Sheldon listened quietly.

Even though he had no idea why Tremaine was looking for bread, he guessed that it involved Yesseca.

Yesseca ran a bakery after all.

Sheldon sighed.

It seemed that he still felt the same for Yesseca, just like before.

He was worried that things wouldn't change at all.

What a crime.

They loved each other so much, but ended up like this.

After he sighed, Sheldon said to the attendant, "Don't worry. You can do it."

The attendant searched for three whole days, but couldn't find the bread he was told to find.

He found plenty of healthy bread, but none of them were very tasty.

Then, the attendant heard about someone who could help him.

A master baker who had retired.

He was told to have amazing skills! A man with his talents could surely help him out!

The attendant went to see him right away.

But was refused.

Left with no choice, the attendant said that at Tremaine's request.

He may not be in Nashaland, but everyone knew Tremaine, he was the president after all.

This master baker surely would answer to his request.

But the old man ignored him all the same.

The attendant grew angry.

He then blurted out loud, "How dare you refuse the president's request! Perhaps you are unaware, but the president of Nashaland has maintained good relations with your country for years!"This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.

The old man's assistant walked out and said, "The master is seventy years old. He's too old to care about any of that. He'll refuse to see anyone he doesn't wish to, let alone your president of Nashaland. Even if he were to come here in person, our master will still refuse him."

The attendant tried to convince them for a very long time, but the old man still refused to see him. In the end, he was left with no choice but to return to Tremaine empty-handed.

"Sir, that old man is outrageous!" The attendant continued angrily, "I told him that you're the president of Nashaland! But he still refused!"

The attendant was certain that Tremaine would be enraged by this.

This so-called master baker was being so disrespectful.

But, unexpectedly, Tremaine remained calm.

He pursed his lips and said, "Take me to him. I'll talk to him myself."

The attendant's eyes widened in disbelief!

He was going to see him in person!

"The president?! Going out of his

way to visit a simple baker?! Ho

And with the old man's incredibly rude behavior too!

He sighed at the thought of it.

I never expected this!

There were limits to how ridiculous a person could be!

Later that evening, Tremaine went to see the retired baker.

But the old man refused to allow him in.

The attendant was prepared in case Tremaine flew into a rage.

But again, Tremaine remained calm.

He simply said, "Let's try again tomorrow."

Tremaine returned the next day.

But the retired baker still refused to see him.

"Sir, he has no idea what he's doing." The attendant continued, "You, the president, have already come to see him twice now! You've already

shown him so much patience!"

Tremaine's staff were all annoyed on his behalf, but Tremaine remained calm.

He simply said, "We'll try again tomorrow."

On the third day, Tremaine showed up once more.

This time, the retired baker welcomed him in.

Tremaine was ushered into a simple-looking living room.

Inside he saw an old man.

The old man apologized to Tremaine and said, "Dear sir, pardon me for refusing you so many times. I'm just too old to be of any help to you. I'm afraid I can't make bread anymore and so I can't help you."
