You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 136 Wedding Invitation

Elara Montague walked gracefully towards Linda, holding a food container in her hand and wearing high heels. She handed the container to Linda and said, “This is specially made for Elijah by me. Take it inside the house.”

Linda hesitated to take it, but Elara smiled and said, “Linda, I will become the mistress of this villa in the future. If you are not friendly with me now, how can we get along later?”

Reluctantly, Linda took the container from her hand and walked into the house with a sullen face. As soon as Linda was out of sight, Elara’s smile disappeared gradually. She glanced at Freya’s luggage lying against the wall before turning to her.

“I hope that after you leave here today, you will never appear in front of Elijah again. He must be disgusted with you if he let Linda throw your things out.” She said.

The words “disgusted with” cut deep into Freya’s heart.

Yes indeed! Elijah must be disgusted with her if he allowed Linda to throw away her belongings.

Freya looked up at Elara while maintaining an impeccable smile on her face. “I may not be the last one who gets kicked out of here,” she said calmly. “I hope Miss Montague remains evergreen and never experiences such a day.”

Elara’s expression changed slightly as she asked accusingly: “Are you cursing me?”

“I’m not trying to curse you,” replied Freya nonchalantly.” I just want to tell you that men are fickle creatures, they can abandon me so easily, what makes you think they won’t do it to someone else? Karma always comes around eventually.”

With that final statement followed by two chuckles from Freya herself, she picked up her luggage box and headed towards roadside without looking back at Elara who was left fuming behind.

“You have been abandoned yourself, what is there for you to feel proud about?” snapped Elara angrily.

Freya ignored her. She knew that Elijah was an unpredictable man–sooner or later, he would find another woman.

Freya felt only pity for Elara. She was abandoned by Elijah and she had nothing to be proud of. What Freya wanted was a dignified exit.

“Did You hear what I just told You ?” demanded Elara impatiently .

“What?”

“Don’t ever show up in front of Elijah again!” repeated Elara slowly emphasizing each word carefully

“All right, I’ll keep that in mind.” Replied Freya, smiling sweetly

Looking at that smile on Freya’s face made Elara feel uneasy somehow .

“How could someone still laugh after being abandoned ? Are You heartless?” blurted out Elara, unable contain herself anymore

Ignoring Elara, Freya hailed a cab and asked driver open trunk whereupon throwing the luggage inside. She dragged her luggage back to her house, and Elowen came out to help her with her suitcase.

“Did you move out from Elijah’s?”

Freya nodded. She looked tired, and Elowen felt sorry for her. “Let’s eat something and rest for a while.”

To avoid worrying Elowen, Freya agreed. After eating some food, Freya dozed off on the sofa. She slept lightly and woke up at any sound. Rubbing her eyes open, she saw Orion Russo and Luna Ann standing in front of her.

She sat up straight.

“Freya,” said Luna as she walked over to sit beside Freya. She looked at Freya’s face concernedly. “Are you sick? Your face looks terrible.”

Freya shook her head.

“Are you still grieving over your father? He can’t come back to life, try to find comfort in that,” Luna consoled.

Freya smiled but didn’t go into detail about what was going on with herself now.

“I came here today because I wanted to tell you that I have a train ticket this afternoon, I have to go back,” Luna said.

Freya turned towards Orion and asked, “You guys are separating again?”

Luna smiled bitterly, “His mother isn’t ready yet, it’ll take more time before she accepts me completely, so I can’t keep waiting here forever. Work has got to continue.”

Freya understood their situation well enough.

“Well then let me take you both down there,” she offered as she stood up but Luna stopped her by holding onto her arm gently.

“I think it would be better if you stayed home since it seems like your spirits aren’t high right now,” suggested Luna “I’ll just ask Orion instead.”

Freya had no strength left in her body. She smiled and said, “That’s right, with my Orion here, I feel like I’m redundant.”

Luna awkwardly patted her and said, “Freya.”

Freya smiled.

Later, Orion left with Luna. Freya no longer felt sleepy. She got up to look for Ronan Vega, but before she left the room, Ronan Vega came in. He was smiling and looked in good spirits.

Freya had no expression on her face and directly asked, “When can I see my child?”

“I told you before, after the wedding. You can take a look at these invitation designs and choose one you like.”

He brought some wedding invitation designs to show her. Freya thought Ronan Vega was very strange. She had already said that she didn’t like him. Marrying him was only because of the child.

Why should she choose an invitation?

“You can decide for yourself. Don’t ask me.” Freya said and sat on the sofa.

Ronan Vega said, “Okay, I’ll decide everything myself. When the invitation is printed, I’ll give the first one to Elijah.”

Freya had no energy to respond, sitting listlessly on the sofa.

“Are you feeling unwell?” Ronan Vega walked over and was about to sit next to Freya when she quickly stood up.

Ronan Vega raised an eyebrow and asked, “Do you hate me so much?”This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

Freya had no patience with him and said, “What do you think?”

“You need to try to get used to me. In Stratos City, didn’t we get along very well?” He patted the seat next to him and said, “Come, sit here.”

Freya sat across from him.

“You don’t have to go through all this trouble. I can go with you now to get the marriage certificate.”

“That won’t do. I must hold a grand wedding so that everyone knows that you belong to me.” He smiled and said, “I ordered the wedding dress from abroad. Do you prefer a traditional style or…?”

“Whatever you want.” Freya couldn’t bear his babble. She had no interest in any of this.

He could do whatever he wanted as long as Kai was fine.

“Then I’ll make all the decisions? But you need to cooperate with me.”

Freya was about to go upstairs when she heard his words, and her expression became sour, “I’ve already agreed to marry you, what else do you want?”

Ronan Vega saw that Freya was about to lose her temper and didn’t force her any further. “Okay, I won’t bother you.”

He had wanted Freya to go with him to show off in front of Elijah together. But now he had no other choice but to give up.

“You can rest well these days. On the day of the wedding, you can be my beautiful bride.” With that, Ronan Vega got up and said, “I’ll leave now.”

Freya couldn’t wait for him to leave, but she didn’t want to offend him now, saying, “Take care of my son.”

“Don’t worry,” Ronan Vega said with a smile.

Three days later…

Ronan Vega had the printed invitation, and the first one he gave was to Elijah. He even went to deliver it in person. He was dressed in a suit, looking very spirited.

“Mr Silverton, do you have time on Saturday?”

Elijah didn’t even bother to give him a glance and said, “Speak your mind, then leave.”

Today, Ronan Vega had come to show off, so how could he just leave like that? He held the invitation in front of Elijah’s face and said, “Will you come to my wedding with Freya Stone?”
